EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES / BOARD
Having given back to community sport as volunteers at Executive committee levels. With decades of experience in strategy, financial management and operations, both Paul and Nicole our senior consultants at RSC have held positions as registrar, treasurer, secretary and President at the Southport Sharks Jnr AFL club. Paul also held the position of coaching director for four years and both are recipients of club person of the year and volunteer of the year awards at club and league levels. Nicole has extended experience with netball associations in positions as coaching director and President at association and club levels over a 25 year period.

Volunteers and coaching.

Coaches are an extension of the board, they are leaders of their teams, the parents and volunteers who help them at every training session / game days. It is vitally important that coaches are aligned with the club's purpose and values. Like your board/committee, coaches are a branch to all members of your club, if you do not take the time to align your coaching teams, it is inevitable that toxic environments will eventually follow, this includes coaches encouraging teams they coach to follow them to another club, setting standards that do not align to community expectations, segregation and poor coaching behaviours etc.
We use the same philosophy for club boards/committees and coaches as we do in any business environment, we help everyone align to the purpose of the club and how we go about managing people.
